Yeshiva Hockey - Things to Remember

  • Each participant must have his first name written clearly on masking tape attached to his helmet just above the face mask.

  • Each participant must bring a labeled water bottle to every session. Water bottles can be kept on team benches at the ice – participants must keep hydrated.

  • Label all equipment with the participant’s last name to prevent losses.

  • Parents are responsible for tying their son(s) skates. Our staff cannot tie skates and simultaneously run the program. In special cases, players whose parents are unable to tie their skates must arrive 15 minutes prior to the program start time in order to receive help.

  • Off ice participation/communication between players and coaches is a mandatory portion of Yeshiva Hockey. Prior to entering the ice surface, we spend 15 minutes in a conference room discussing a Devar Torah followed by introduction and review of critical hockey techniques.

Sincerely,

Rabbi Yehudah Koblick

Director, Yeshiva Hockey
